They stock a ton of parts that the other big auto parts stores do not have, and they are sometimes 50% cheaper than the auto parts stores.
If you need a part right away, then read my blog about parts store doing a price match to rockauto, but if you want to order online, they ship right away.

Rock Auto, been dealing with them for about a year now, but they screwed-up on my last order. The application for a part does not fit, and they even checked with their suppier National, and even they agree its not the right part, but Rock auto still plays hard ball, and does not want to refund my money cause I do not have the box. If Rockauto was that big of a supplier I am sure the mfg. would gladly send an empty box. So I have to take the long road and goto Court. So I will stop ordering from them, as I can not afford mistakes that they have no interest in fixing. They have gotten so big, they have forgotten about the little guy, like most big firms do :(
